Security of data with Cloud computing

Cloud can be helpful in keeping online data secure:

  • Cloud provides storage encryption services. It provides the protection of data from unlawful access of IT staff to the data center.

  • When data is transmitted from one data center to another then Transport encryption is used in cloud computing to protect data during transmission.

  • Cloud uses the web-based firewall services which provide the facility of high protection of data from the outsiders who make efforts to connect with data center illegally.

  • Now the multi-factor authentication method is using by many cloud computing companies. It provides more security by using two or more combination of authentications. For example two steps password or some times single password with biometrics etc.
